Officially first bagel in NY! U can buy in 3 or 6 pack and get bagels w smear separate. Opted for everything bagel w scallion smear! Loved texture of bagel and cream cheese was lovely but was it life changing? I'm keeping my standards high

I don't know if people feel inclined to say these bagels are amazing because everyone else is saying that, or if I have horrible taste. Of course, maybe this is a moot point as I am not a New Yorker. In any case, the bagels were fine. I rank them middle of the road relative to the other bagels I had on my trip. I got 3 everything bagels and some great jones vanilla bourbon butter schmear. I like the seasoning. The salt and garlic were the prevailing flavors which I enjoyed. The bagel was soft and airy inside, crispy on the outside. But, that's all it was: a bagel. I did not like the schmear. It just was pretty flavorless. Not much going on with it. Yeah, they are viral. But, to be quite frank, I am unsure why. I was in town for a week and can immediately name 3 places I ate a superior bagel. Sorry to the cult, but these were just solid bagels. Not elite. Cool branding, and great marketing. But, just a bagel at the end of the day

These are the best bagels in NYC. The rip and dip concept is so clever. My two favorite orders are an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and a salt bagel with any of their sweet smears. The bagels are hot and fresh with a crispy exterior and chewy interior. I've never had anything like it before. I initially got a bag of three, but right after finishing my bagel, I went back and got another bag of six. They are irresistible and a must if you're in the city.

Sooo worth the hype! Small line but they are very quick, friendly and efficient here! Only waited for about 5 minutes. I tried the everything bagel with the scallion cream cheese and also the cinnamon sugar cream cheese. The bagels are so light and fluffy. The cream cheese is the best ever. The scallion is perfection and the cinnamon sugar I literally could have just ate plain. I will be back, I am obsessed!

I miss them (the bagels). We tried the everything and sesame bagels with scallion smear. The everything bagel killed me. Both bagels were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was fresh out the oven. Good portion of smear too. It was reasonably priced -- 3 bagels with a smear for $12. There was a long line due to all the hype online... however, it's lowkey worth the hype. The line pretty quickly. I'll definitely be back.

Popup Bagel has become very popular, top-rated bagel spot in NY, so I decided to stop buy while in the neighborhood. There's also Leon's Bagel next door that had a line, which I almost mistaken for Popup which was a few doors down with another line. While in line, an employee was taking your order, which was efficient. Once you get up to the cashier, you just hand over your order on the paper bag. What makes Popup Bagel different is that they don't make your bagels into sandwiches, but the bagel acts like a bread to dip and scoop the cream cheese or butter instead. Of course you could still do it the old fashioned way, but that's what makes Popup special. I ordered 3 bagels and a smear for $12. For the bagels, I got everything and plain paired with a scallion cream cheese. There are only 4 selections for both the bagels and smear, so also makes things more perfected and simple. Note that the smear is one size and it comes with a good amount, which is more than enough for 3 bagels. Although the bagels are smaller than usual, they're a good size for a snack. I liked how the everything seasoning was fully coated all over, which gave it such good flavor and crunch while remaining soft on the inside. Personally, I prefer lox with my bagel, but if you like a simple bagel, this is a great option. Everyone was very friendly and they were efficient. Best to come here with multiple people to share though.

Came on a Wednesday since myself + some of my friends had the day off! No better way to spend it than by getting bagels ar a hard to get spot we fully indulged intona variety of stuff, here are my thoughts on each: - salt bagel: a little too salty for me, actually couldnt finish. if you like salt get this - sesame bagel: made fresh and was so delicious. pairs well with savory creme cheese - plain bagel: pairs well w sweet creme cheese - everything bagel: very flavorful and not too crumby - chive cream cheese: savory and flavorful, spreed like butter - vanilla burbon cream cheese: not too sweet and perfect. paired this with the plain bagel and it was nice. tasted like vanilla extract in a good way would recommend and come back

I recently stopped by Pop Up Bagels with a friend to try their new blueberry pancake cinnamon roll dip, and it did NOT disappoint! There was no line, so we could dive right in, snagging a sesame bagel, a plain bagel, and a poppy seed bagel, plus the scrumptious schmear. The bagels were perfectly toasted, with a crispy crust giving way to a soft, chewy interior. And that dip? A game-changer! Cinnamony, buttery goodness with sweet and tangy blueberry pieces mixed in - it's like a party in your mouth! Tearing into that hot, fresh bagel and dipping it into the creamy, dreamy dip was pure bliss - definitely a highlight of my day! Would I wait 2 hours in line? No, but if there isn't a wait, I love this place. Their scallion cream cheese is also fantastic. It's a small place with no real seating area, but the workers are really nice, which adds to the charm. So tasty, and definitely NOT overhyped. Highly recommend giving it a try!

I got here when a new batch of bagels dropped so the ones I had was seriously hot! And it was delicious! I prefer sesame and paired it with the dill pickle cream cheese. It was amazing. So hot and fresh! Inside was soft and still steaming. I made a huge mess when I ate in the street. Sesame scattered all over the ground. Sadness. I ended up ripping the bagel and dipping it into the cream cheese. It was magnificent. Would I stand here for hours? No. I showed up around 1 when there was no line just people waiting for the bagels to come out. Whether you want to stand there and wait is up to you. Had a conversation with the staff by the door which helped pass the time while waiting. Try these bagels if you get the chance but it's up to you to decide if it's with the wait.
